Hypothetically lets say that the Iowa legislature gives public education a blank check. Would unlimited funding fix schools?

  1. If the money went towards fixing just public education, then the answer would be no. So many of our educational problems are a reflection upon society's problems. Race, class, socioeconomic status, etc are all problems our society face. Those problems walk into our door every day so would money help? Yes. Would they fix schools? Probably not.

  2. I agree Brian. So if things are so broken is there an amiable solution that benefits children? Do we even try to replace the current system?

  3. I would say no, but it would be nice obviously. It would be beneficial to education, but it would not be a cure all. Money doesn't fix everything as we all know.

  4. Money won't fix the problem but a lack of money can cause a lot more problems.
