The public is always demanding greater accountability from schools. The question is whether we should run schools more or less like a business (since business is seen as the "model of efficiency" for schools to emulate)?
Financially I think it could help to be business like, but we need to stay educational and not be fully business like. Again, there is no easy fix and not one way is probably the answer, but we need to only use the business side for efficiency, in my opinion, financially.
