Unless they are doing something criminal, they can ruin anything. We all just rattled off teachers we've worked with who are bad teachers. The impact they had was minimal

ReplyDeleteI would guess this is similar to a business where the big machine keeps chugging along regardless of the fact that some are not pulling their weight.
ReplyDeleteDirk is right. The system keeps going. I doubt if one person can "ruin" the system. Or can they...?
ReplyDeleteThat's the whole thing about teaching, if that one bad teacher ruins it for one kid it is a disaster.
