Should schools be able to get involved in a non-academic situation involving their personnel?

  2. It also depends on the legal implications of the situation.

  3. I agree with Bob. Things that happen outside of school, should be outside of school. If a teacher has a personal issue one time, it should never be used against them in their work no matter the profession. If it impacts their professional performance or becomes a regular occurrence, then someone should check on the professional and see if they need help with anything. You can still be a good worker or teacher.

  4. I agree with all of that however I do know that teachers are held to a higher moral accountability than other professions.
